Real Housewives' Kyle Richards moving to new Bel Air home

March 15, 2011 - Kyle Richards, of the reality series Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is moving elsewhere in Los Angeles' Platinum Triangle.

Reports say Richards and her husband, real estate magnate Mauricio Umansky, sold their Bel Air home for $2.1 million. That was a drop from $3.45 million, which the home was originally listed for in May 2009. However, the couple will still turn a profit on their real estate deal, as they originally purchased the home for $1.9 million in 2004, a discount of about 30 percent from its list price.

With 4,200 square feet of living space, the four bedroom, five bathroom property sits on about a quarter of an acre of land and features a swimming pool, spa and barbecue area. However, Umansky said the home's next inhabitants will most enjoy relocating to the foot of the San Bernardino Mountains.

"We had a full view of the San Fernando Valley with all the lights and the San Bernardino Mountains. The really jagged mountains, snow-capped in the winter time, was really very pretty. It's one of the things we are not going to be able to replace," he told AOL Real Estate.

The family's moving trucks won't have to head far to reach their next home. Reports in January said the couple purchased and are renovating a different 6,500-square-foot Bel Air home.
