American Idol host Ryan Seacrest sells Hollywood Hills home

September 7, 2012 - After purchasing a new home in the Los Angeles area, celebrity news sites say Ryan Seacrest has finally sold his bachelor pad in the Hollywood Hills after it was listed for sale for two years. While he originally purchased the property from Kevin Costner for $11.5 million back in 2006, it has recently sold for $11 million after initially being listed for $14.95 million.

The estate has been owned by a number of other celebrities, including Richard Dreyfuss, who sold it to Costner in 1995 for $2.7 million, while it was decorated by Jeff Andrews, a well-known designer. Seacrest moved into comedic talk show host Ellen DeGeneres' home back in May after paying $49 million.

With 8,172 square feet of living space, the Mediterranean-style home offers five bedrooms and four bathrooms, along with numerous celebrity-approved upgrades including a swimming pool, a separate guest house and tennis courts.

While he has reportedly already been living in DeGeneres' former home for a while, he may need movers to transfer over any last-minute items he left behind when relocating.
