Actress Kristen Stewart purchases Malibu home with mother

September 11, 2012 - While many celebrity news headlines about Kristen Stewart are about her love life and buzz about the upcoming Twilight film, news has broke that she may be calling for movers after purchasing a home in Malibu.

Sources say the actress could be moving boxes out of the Los Angeles area home she previously shared with Robert Pattinson and into an oceanfront pad with her mother Jules. While Pattinson reportedly paid $6.3 million for the estate last summer, Stewart is said to have laid down $4.8 million for the modern beach house.

With 5,800 square feet of living space, the recently purchased five-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom house offers plenty of space to share with her mother, while the three-story spread also provides privacy. Some notable features of the home include hardwood flooring, a modern design and floor-to-ceiling glass windows with views of the ocean.

Photos of the home featured on its official listing show a well-lit estate with direct access to the water. Poured concrete also gives the home, built in 1993, a cool aesthetic.
